Trevor Anderson, director of EB-5 Financing at HomeFed Corporation, introduces their Cota Vera 2 project: “Cota Vera 2 is HomeFed’s newest development in San Diego’s best-selling Otay Ranch master planned community. Cota Vera 2 is planned for up to 3,276 homes including for-sale homes, and luxury rental apartments.

The community plan includes neighborhood serving retail, a new elementary school, and extensive recreational amenities including a neighborhood park, walking and biking trails, river valley overlooks, and a large community park. Grading and Apartment construction commenced in 2023 and homebuilding will begin in 2025.

EB-5 Investors in Cota Vera 2 enjoy the security of a First Position Trust Deed as well as a Completion Guarantee. HomeFed’s prior EB-5 projects include the Otay Ranch called the Village of Escaya and Cota Vera 1. Eligible investors in the Escaya accessed early repayment and now eligible Cota Vera investors are also being repaid in full.
