How long does USCIS take to cash concurrent filing checks?

I filed the I-526 and i-485 concurrently; I got a receipt for the I-526, and it’s been a couple of weeks since, and I haven’t heard anything about my I-485 yet. The checks are yet to be cashed by USCIS for i-485. My attorney says it is normal. But is it?

It seems to be the current normal to be slow about issuing receipts and cashing checks.

It took about 4-6 weeks for our most recently filed cases.

Anywhere from 3-12 weeks could be considered normal.
