I am a Bangladeshi citizen. I am very interested in EB-5. But I do not know how it is possible to transfer that much amount of money from Bangladesh. I researched a lot about it and still, it seems its almost impossible to transfer funds from Bangladesh. Based on your experience, is there any way I can transfer the funds legally from Bangladesh?

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryMy past Bangladeshi EB-5 clients have had international businesses and have been able to get paid for their business someplace outside of Bangladesh. I do not know of a way to legally transfer more than the $5,000 annual limit (last time I looked- it might be a different amount now) out of Bangladesh. You may want to contact a local lawyer there.

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryIt can be done and it has been done n the past on so many occasions , even if it involves the use of a middleman. However it is advisable that you consult an EB-5 attorney who can make sure it is done properly.

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryI have assisted several clients from Bangladesh with preparing and filing I-526 petitions using funds that derive from Bangladesh. It is important to use a licensed currency exchange company to get this done.

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryBangladesh has very strict currency regulations yet it appears some have discovered a way to do this legally. I would discuss with any banks that focus on international transactions to see if there are exceptions.
