It’s been 9 years for me in the U.S. I applied for the EB-5 green card and received an RFE on I-526 on Nov-25, 2024. I also have a valid work permit (EAD Card) until 2029. I have a travel permit, which expired on June 07, 2024. I also applied for renewal of I-131 in May, which was 7 months but have not heard anything back. I have advance parole until March 2025.
I thought my advance parole stamp with an expiry date of March 2025 would allow me to reenter the USA. So I decided to visit my wife in Canada. I did not realize that my travel permit, which expired on June 07, 2024, would deny me going back. I tried to enter back into the USA, but CBP denied my entry due to an expired travel permit.
At this point, I am stuck in Toronto, Canada. Is there any way I can get back to the USA?
