How can I change my EB-5 consular processing from Pakistan to UAE without causing delays?

USCIS has approved my I-526 on April 13, 2021 and sent my case to NVC for further processing/due diligence. Now I am waiting for NVC to establish a first contact with me. What happens if I at this stage switch the consular processing from Pakistan to UAE as I am Pakistani born but based in UAE now? How can I do that? And will this become any cause of further delay if I request to change the location at this stage?

Without causing delays? Hard to say. Consulate changes can be done but delays can be expected.

This is quite common. UAE would need to accept your case and you would need to be sure you won''t have problems entering that country for interview. Everything is so backed up now I wouldn''t expect this to be much of a delay if you keep the step moving along.

Make a request with NVC and provide proof of lawful residence in UAE.

You can change the location as long as you have sufficient nexus to the new location, but there will likely be delays. You can initiate the change by sending a request to NVC.

You can switch without delay by notifying NVC that you are a resident of the UAE.

You can request the National Visa Center to transfer the file to the UAE. You will have to give them a good reason and provide documentation to support your request.
