What will happen to my EB-5 I-829 acceptance if the EB-5 regional center program dies?

I have to apply for I-829 this coming March. If the EB-5 regional center program permanently dies, can USCIS stop accepting the I-829s? If yes, I want to prepare myself for an alternative status in advance like looking for H1b job today or apply for EB2 green card.

USCIS has confirmed that they will still accept and review I-829 petitions regardless of reauthorization.

I-829s should still be adjudicated as normal.

Conditional permanent residents should be fine. But stay tuned.
