We have been contacted by a USCIS officer post I-829 filing (after 4 years) to verify the NCE we invested in for EB5. How long does the USCIS office take to finalize the processing of our I-829 petition?

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryThere is no particular time frame. If you properly responded with the requested evidence to the satisfaction of USCIS, you should have your attorney inquire after 60 days if there is no decision on your case.

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryThe published processing times are absurdly between 3-6 years. You are not allowed to do an inquiry unless filed before February 21, 2016. For this reason, we have had to file mandamus cases challenging this unreasonable delay.
