I am about three years into my EB-5 I-829 processing. Given the current very long processing times, I was wondering if exploring a company-sponsored green card while I wait would be a good idea in the meantime, and switch over if I am qualified. Would such switch be prudent? Is it better to just stay with the I-829?

At three years we have successfully filed mandamus applications as a solution, unfortunately. Starting a new case will take at least 2-3 years and you will have to surrender your current green card status before you can acquire a new employment-based green card.
