How long does it take to get the status updated after a biometric appointment? I had it yesterday and others have got a same day update. I am worried as the fingerprint scan had some orange results due to my sweating condition. Thumbs and 4 fingers together were green, but when they did each finger, they all were orange. I worry that I”ll have to get another biometric appointment adding more time. Any guidance? Anyone see something similar for others with orange results and scans?

Schedule a Free Consultation with Top EB5 Visa AttorneysThere is not really a direct correlation between the appointment and any action taken on the case. Everything, all parts, of these processes are taking an annoyingly long time. There are some remedies (writ of mandamus!) to move things along after too much time has passed.

Schedule a Free Consultation with Top EB5 Visa AttorneysWhat update are you seeking, perhaps you mean online? If the biometrics are processed, the USCIS status may only show that your the case is continued processing or is being processed typically. If an additional fingerprinting is required, you will certainly be notified.

Schedule a Free Consultation with Top EB5 Visa AttorneysThe timing of biometrics capture and actual case adjudication are not related. You have to check the online case status system at https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing. Do as well as the average processing times at https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/. The colors at the biometrics appointment should not be problem if they did not ask you to redo them.
