If we engage a financial audit instead of a fund administrator for our EB-5 fund, do we need to provide an audit after the funds are deployed? Is there any specific requirement to audit an EB-5 fund? Can we ask a third-party CPA to do the annual audit instead?

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryThe RIA includes a provision for the use of a CPA instead of a fund admin. Your attorney can guide you in implementing the requirements; do note, you have an obligation to remain consistent with the I-956F or at least have a valid justification for steering away from the plan stated in the F application.
