Can my health problems affect my EB-5 visa application?

Before applying for EB-5, I developed a health condition that limits my mobility. I applied anyways, but now I wonder if my health problems could be seen as a problem and affect my application. live in Colombia and traveling to the US to continue the application there is no longer an option for the time being, as was the original plan. I have already applied to the I-526, waiting for a reply while I undergo treatment.

If they are not contagious diseases, and you not going to be a public charge, this may not be an obstacle.

You should be fine unless it is one of the health-related inadmissibility grounds. You may potentially have a public charge inadmissibility issue if your condition may require costly treatment and you are not able to show you have funds and will not apply for public assistance in the US. Generally, EB-5 investors are not subject to affidavit of support requirements.

You will need to complete an I-693 if in the U.S. and equivalent Department of State form if outside the U.S. If your health issues require very expensive treatment the consulate may inquire on your ability to pay for this without applying for public aid.

Generally no, unless it's one of the specific communicable diseases that's listed on their website.
