Can I use print copies in my EB-5 application process?

I recently attended an EB-5 visa interview at the Guangzhou consulate and received an “Additional Processing Letter,” specifying that I need to submit a notarized alias certificate and includes the following instructions:

1. Scan and upload documents to the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC).
2. Submit the original document via CITIC Bank.

I just submitted the original document (notarized name change document) through CITIC Bank, but I am having trouble uploading a digital copy after logging into the CEAC platform. Could I submit the print copy of the original document by mail, or is the digital upload mandatory?

At the I-526 petition stage, the USCIS will receive copies of originals. They do not ask for originals. At the consular processing stage at the US Embassy, they may ask you to bring some original documents for them to verify, but they normally don't keep original documents other than the passports.

THEY WILL WANT THE DIGITAL UPLOAD. Try different browsers.
