I’m a college student on an F-1 visa applying for EB-5. My fiancée lives outside the U.S. and is considering moving in with me. I’m contemplating if I want to apply for advance parole when my conditional green card is pending since she can move to the U.S. as the spouse of an F-1 visa holder but not as the spouse of an advance parole holder. Would it be a good idea for me to remain on my F-1 status so we can both apply for advance parole in the U.S. once we get married and she moves to the country?
