As an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), he serves as Vice Chair of the EB-5 Committee and has previously participated in AILA’s Benefits Litigation Committee. Additionally, Barnett is a member of the EB-5 regional center trade association IIUSA’s Editorial Board, contributing to its Regional Center Business Journal. Industry peers have recognized his expertise has been recognized by industry peers, earning him accolades as a Top 5 Rising Star in EB-5 in 2019 and a Top 25 EB-5 Attorney in both 2023 and 2022.
