Century American Regional Center became a USCIS-designated EB-5 regional center in June 2012. The regional center has a geographic scope which includes the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego and San Bernardino in the state of California, and Clark County in the state of Nevada. Century American Regional Center is approved to engage in construction activities of all sectors, including loans to third party enterprises, real estate construction, renovation and management, construction and development of infrastructures, securing equipment for new and existing businesses, and paying salaries for start-up businesses.
The mission of Century American Regional Center is to help immigrants obtain their permanent resident status through the EB-5 visa program. The regional center accomplishes this goal by working with commercial development partners and capital partners who have demonstrated track records of regional and national success. Additionally, the regional center strives for government partnerships by seeking opportunities that receive government financing support. The management team behind Century American Regional Center has more than 35 years of experience in commercial real estate development.
Roger C. Hobbs, the president and chief executive officer of Century American Regional Center, also serves as the president of the real estate consulting and development company, R.C. Hobbs Company. Roger is additionally the president and founder of Yellowstone Montana Regional Center LLC. He previously served as the president at Birtcher-Hobbs Communities, as the senior vice president at KSL Development, as the founding chairman of California City Bank, and as a trustee for the California Real Estate Trust. Roger has successfully worked on almost $1 billion of residential, commercial and industrial real estate over the past 35 years, and completed more than 4,000 apartments and houses. His certifications include being a California Real Estate Broker, Certified Property Manager, Certified Residential Specialist, and Certified Commercial Investment Member. Hobbs graduated from the University of Southern California with his bachelor’s degree in finance and his master’s degree in administration, and he has taught business at California State University of Fullerton, University of Southern California, University of Montana and Chapman University.
The vice president of Century American Regional Center is Robert Hobbs. Since serving in this role from the regional center’s inception in 2011, Robert has worked on real estate projects totaling over $304 million dollars. As vice president of Century American Regional Center, Robert manages project documentation, project feasibility determination, securing EB-5 financing, and TEA State Certification letters. Robert also currently serves as the vice president of the family-owned real estate firm, R.C. Hobbs Company, which over 40 years has built more than 900 apartment units, 4,900 homes, and entitled over 10,000 lots. Robert graduated from Chapman University and is a member of organizations such as the California Association of Realtors, the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the National Association of Homebuilders.
