American Logistics International Regional Center, located in Carson, Calif., was designated as an EB-5 Regional Center by USCIS in March 2008. American Logistics International Regional Center is able to participate in the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program by creating projects for potential foreign investors who wish to invest in U.S. businesses. The regional center is authorized to offer investment opportunities in the fields of logistics, transportation, cold storage and order fulfillment, warehousing, distribution and trucking. Its geographic scope includes the harbor region of Los Angeles County.

Alireza Mahdavi is manager and chairman of American Logistics International, LLC, and also the managing member of the American Logistics International Transport. His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science and a Master of Business Administration in international business environment. Mahdavi also has extensive experience in the transportation field, which greatly assists him in the day–to-day operations of the regional center. He served as president and CEO of Total Transportation, vice president for Team Transport International, and as an import-international cargo transportation specialist for the Harper Group. He has over 29 years of direct executive, managerial level, financial, operations, human resources and hands-on experience in the distribution, transportation, warehousing and technologically advanced logistics industries.
James E. De Arruda serves as the vice president and board member for American Logistics International, LLC. His responsibilities include directly advising and seeing marketing and sales operations for the regional center. De Arruda has accumulated many years of experience in international sales for a variety of major corporations. He worked as a business development executive with a concentration in global cargo transport for Intercontinental Forwarders in 1984. Afterward, he received a position at Singapore Airlines as a logistics manager, where he developed international cargo transportation routes between the United States and Asia. In 1987, he joined Total Transportation Concept as the director of operations and later became the vice president of operations. He became skilled in logistics and helped small and global organizations with their logistics needs. De Arruda graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s in aeronautical science and also has a Master of Business Administration in aviation management.
