Yongkuk Kim is an immigration attorney. He is currently an in-house lawyer and shareholder at Kookmin Emigration Corporation, based in Seoul, South Korea. He has worked there since 2007.
Kim, a specialist in EB-5 investor visas, is also a partner at the Law Firm of Kim, Jo and Park, located in Seoul. Kim divides his time overseeing the work at Kookmin, giving presentations to potential clients on weekends, holding individual consultations during the week, reviewing source of funds, and handling his personal clients at Kim, Jo and Park.
Kim has expertise in U.S. immigration law, including immigrant investor visas, family-based and corporate-based immigrant visas, and corporate non-immigrant visas. He has 10 years of experience working with regional centers through the EB-5 program.
Prior to working in South Korea, Kim practiced immigration law in the New York and New Jersey areas, helping Korean and Japanese individuals and corporations.
Kim is licensed to practice law in New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and New York City Bar Association. He has a bachelor’s degree in law from Sophia University in Tokyo and an LL.M. from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University.
