Winnie Ng is an immigration attorney and founding associate of the firm, David Hirson & Partners, LLP, located in Newport Beach, Calif. She specializes in working directly with clients on all components of the EB-5 investor application, from the I-526 petition to I-824 approval, combining her translation expertise with her legal analytical skills to assist each client through the immigration process. She also advises clients on regional center creation, and direct investment and regional center projects. Attorney Ng collaborates directly with Attorney David Hirson to assist in the firm’s management of immigration accounts for a number of individual investors and companies. She also provides assistance in all other areas of immigration law, and particularly in business matters, including L-1, EB-1-3, and H-1B visas, and E-2 treaty trader/investor immigration.
Attorney Ng spearheads David Hirson & Partners’ team of Chinese-speaking staff, which is committed to providing excellent service to the firm’s Chinese clients. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and has worked extensively in simultaneous oral interpretation between those three languages. Before joining the firm, Winnie accumulated legal and immigration experience from a variety of legal positions in both Hong Kong and the United States. She is admitted to practice law in the state of California and before the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
A current member of the Immigration Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association, Attorney Ng is also a member of the American Bar Association, the J. Reuben Clark Law Society – Orange County Chapter, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is active in the immigration law community, having represented a number of individuals and nonprofit organizations pro bono, and she has served as a panelist in the U.S. Investment Immigration Forum. Attorney Ng received her Honours bachelor’s degree as an English Specialist from the University of Toronto. She then received her Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law and served as a Visiting Scholar to the University of San Diego School of Law in 2013.
