David Andersson is an immigration attorney who has been involved with the EB-5 visa program for over ten years. Mr. Andersson specializes in immigration law, particularly immigration through investment and business. He has represented clients in cases before the United States District Court, the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Board, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Executive Office of Immigration Review, and the Federal Court of Canada. Attorney Andersson is extremely involved with the EB-5 community. He is the current president of Invest in the USA (IIUSA) which is a trade association for EB-5 Regional Centers. Mr. Andersson is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Investor Committee, which focuses on EB-5 related matters.
Attorney Andersson is a member of the Washington State and British Columbia Bar Associations. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Alberta and earned his law degree from the University of British Columbia. He has also completed Japanese Commercial and Corporate Law practicums at the University of Osaka. Attorney Andersson reads, writes, and speaks fluent Japanese. He has office locations in Osaka, Japan and Vancouver, British Columbia and has ample experience with American, Canadian, and Japanese cross border transactional issues.
Mr. Andersson is the President of the Pacific Corridor Enterprise Council (PACE) which deals with cross border trade and mobility matters. In that capacity he has testified before members of the U.S Congress and Canadian Parliament. He is also the President and Founder of the Whatcom Opportunities Regional Center.
