Jane Oak is an immigration attorney with more than 15 years of experience. She is the principal of her own law firm, the Law Offices of Jane Oak & Associates, P.C., which was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, Calif. Attorney Oak provides a variety of immigration legal services, including in matters related to the EB-5 immigrant investor visa program. In this field, she possesses expertise in representing EB-5 investors, and preparing and filing their immigrant visa/adjustment of status forms, including I-526 petitions, I-485 applications, consular processing applications, and I-829 petitions.

As an associate attorney at the real estate law firm, Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, located in Century City, Calif., Attorney Oak began her legal career handling large-scale commercial real estate transactions. She left this more corporate-oriented sector and founded the Law Offices of Jane Oak & Associates, which has grown to be one of the largest immigration-centered practices in the Korean-American community. Attorney Oak is bilingual in Korean and English, and for the past six years, she has published weekly immigration law articles in several major Korean newspapers.

Attorney Oak is also active in the greater legal community. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance, and the Multi-Cultural Bar Alliance. Previously, she was a member of the Christian Legal Society – Los Angeles Board of Directors. She currently serves on the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California’s Board of Governors and was the organization’s president in 2012. Attorney Oak has been actively admitted to the California State Bar since 1998.

In 2011, Attorney Oak was recognized with the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s award for the Best Lawyers Under 40. She earned her B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University in 2002, and went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998.
