Attorney McCarthy attained his undergraduate degree, a B.B.A. in finance, in 1981 from University of Houston. He subsequently attended St. Mary’s University School of Law to receive his Juris Doctor in 1984. In addition to these two schools, attorney McCarthy spent a considerable amount of time in England, studying at Cambridge University.
