As the managing partner of the Encino, Calif., office of Squar Milner, LLP, William F. Wolf provides accounting and tax services to high-net-worth individuals and a wide range of business enterprises. In addition, he provides litigation consultation for accounting and tax matters, and carries out fraud and due diligence investigations. Mr. Wolf is a Certified Public Accountant in California and has prepared financial documents for EB-5 applications.
Mr. Wolf has expertise in all areas of income taxes and in estate planning. He has experience as a business manager and possesses related skills, such as a future operations projections, analyzing opportunities for investment, and obtainment of financing. He also serves as an expert witness and has testified in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. District Court, and the California Superior Court. Mr. Wolf has provided testimony on matters such as estate taxes, effective tax rates, accountant’s negligence, partnership allocation issues, and more.
Before he joined Squar Milner, LLP, Mr. Wolf served as a senior partner in charge of the tax and accounting division at White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna, Wolf & Hunt. Prior to his 14 years there, he spent 20 years as a partner in the accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked in the tax and audit departments.
In addition to holding a current and valid CPA license in California, Mr. Wolf is a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He is also Certified in Financial Forensics, Certified as a Fraud Examiner, and he holds a FINRA Series 65 License. He earned his M.B.A. and B.B.A. from the University of Southern California. Mr. Wolf is the author of publications related to tax matters, and has lectured on fraud prevention, income taxation, and more before organizations such as the ABA.
