Liz Chen is the principal registered migration agent at LC Migration, a firm of Australian immigration specialists, which she founded in 2015.
Before starting her own company, Liz worked with the Australian government as a financial management and business consultant for more than 11 years, advising 10 federal government departments. Recognized for her work, Liz received an Australia Day Achievement Award in 2012 from the Department of the Environment.
Liz combines her professional expertise and analytical skills with immigration law to help clients apply for Australian visas and resolve immigration-related problems. Liz has traveled to 33 countries throughout the world, which she says has given her insight into differing cultures, customs, and visa processes.
Liz has a migration story of her own. She was born in China and moved to Australia with her parents when she was 5 years old, settling in the capital city of Canberra.
Liz received a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Graduate Certificate of Australian Migration Law and Practice from the Australian National University. She is also a certified practicing accountant (CPA) and a chartered accountant (CA). Liz is fluent in English and Mandarin.
