Bernard Attard is an appointed Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, a leading professional services firm based in Malta.
PwC provides a service that assists both Maltese and international businesses. They offer services in fields such as tax advisory and management advisory. PwC also believes in corporate responsibility, which they achieve by contributing to the wider community and assisting clients with the integration of corporate responsibility goals. As a driving force behind PwC, Bernard embodies these traits.
Appointed as Partner in 2011, Bernard has almost twenty years of experience working in relevant industries. He previously worked in the Tax and Legal Services department of PricewaterhouseCoopers, or PwC. He currently heads the Private Wealth department at PwC, and he has experience with advising on HNWI/ UHNWI matters. These include assistance with citizenship, residence programmes, and tax matters.
In 1998, Bernard received a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.) degree from the University of Malta. After joining the PwC team, Bernard was later seconded to the International Tax Structuring Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Berlin.
Bernard is also an accredited member of the Tax Committee of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners of Malta. Additionally, he guest lectures for tax law at the University of Malta. He has not only attended numerous technical seminars, but he has spoken at them as well as various conferences.
