Agents Top Project Judges crowned three project winners during the inaugural shark-tank-style EB-5 project competition at the Miami Global Mobility & Investment Summit on August 29.
HomeFed Corporation won first place in the Urban Project category, while Green Card Fund and EB5 United tied for first place in the Rural Project category.
The ATP awards showcased innovation, financial viability, investment security, immigration potential, and commitment to advancing the field of EB-5 immigration through impactful and high-quality projects.
Kyle Walker, Green Card Fund’s founder and CEO, appreciated the recognition and the chance to present their Terra VI Yosemite project.

Meanwhile, Trevor Anderson, director of EB-5 Financing at HomeFed Corporation, won in the Urban category with their Cota Vera 2 project.

Competing projects at first ATP Awards reflect high-quality standards of EB-5 industry
The judging panel assessed the winning EB-5 projects from a selection of eight proposals based on their financial viability, immigration potential, job creation, developer background, geographic suitability, investment security, and management competence.
The panel consisted of distinguished EB-5 agents and experts: Janak Mehta from FRR, Jenny Zhan from Beyond International, Kristine Li from AmCan, Ozzie Torres from Torres Law, Sam Newbold from CSG, and Vivek Tandon from Sequence.
The competing projects lineup included American Lending Center, Atlanta Partners Group, Habitat Group, Peachtree Group, and US Immigration Fund.
The next Agents Top Project awards for 2025 will take place during our Newport Beach expo on Jan. 9-10.
