Ali Jahangiri, CEO of EB5 Investors Magazine, and Kristine Li from AmCan Group recently met with Colorado Governor Jared Polis during his visit to Los Angeles to discuss EB-5 policies. The meeting took place at the law offices of Eisner in Beverly Hills.
Jordy Spiegel of Spiegel Partners and local political candidate George Whitesides, who is running for Congress, were also in attendance.
The group discussed the impact of the EB-5 program in Colorado, EB-5 legislation, and how the upcoming election might influence the visa program.
“Great to meet with Governor Polis and my good friend Ali,” Li said.
They also talked about the program’s relevance for economic growth and job creation in the state.
“We had a fruitful discussion recognizing the positive impact of the program on Colorado,” said Jahangiri. “Governor Polis is a strong advocate for the program, highlighting its benefits for our state’s economy and communities.”
Kristine Li added, “The meeting with Governor Polis focused on leveraging the EB-5 program to support Colorado’s economic growth and development in urban TEAs and rural areas. We discussed how EB-5 investments could drive job creation and fund projects across the state. The Governor highlighted Colorado’s commitment to attracting EN-5 investment in both urban TEAs and rural areas that would benefit from sustainable growth.”
