Welcome to the Agents Top Project Award section, where we highlight the judges top choices for EB-5 projects for both Urban TEA and Rural.
The contest was judged by a panel who voted on each project that was presented; the judges you will see below comprised of an immigration attorney, a securities attorney, a registered rep of a broker-dealer, a project general partner, an India based broker-dealer, a China based migration agent.
This picture above shows our CEO Ali Jahangiri next to the six judges, our ATP contest sponsor CEO (Connor Irish or PRXY) and Trevor Andersen from HOMEFED who was the winner of the Urban TEA project.
The judges who were solely responsible for awarding the winners were the following: Janak Mehta from FRR, Jenny Zhan from Beyond International, Kristine Li from AmCan, Ozzie Torres from Torres Law, Sam Newbold from CSG, and Vivek Tandon form Sequence.
These awards were judged based on financial modeling, job creation, capital stack considerations and impact in the community.
The ATP Awards feature two distinct categories: the Rural Project category and the Urban TEA Project category. These two categories both qualify for the $800,000 investment amount. There was a tie in the Rural Category for first place; Terra Vi from GreenCard Fund and Yellowstone Project from Eb5 United.
In the Urban TEA category, there was one project which ranked as first place by the judges, HOMEFED.
Each winning project was evaluated at the Miami Eb5Investors Conference by the ATP judges. All judges have extensive experience in EB5 and have been involved in the industry for many years and serve different roles in the industry.
