Kevin S. Kim practices corporate law at Geraci Law Firm, located in Irvine, Calf. He has extensive experience handling private placements, complex corporate transactions, and cross border transactions. He has advised multi-national corporations on matters such as private equity financing and structuring strategic business acquisitions.
Currently, Attorney Kim’s practice is focused on matters related to real estate, with a concentration on alternative investments and private placements for real estate developers and private lenders. He also prepares in-depth private and public securities offerings for U.S.-based and worldwide clients who are utilizing alternative investment platforms.
Attorney Kim has experience advising clients in matters involving the EB-5 investment program, such as admitting EB-5 investors, and ensuring their operations are compliant with federal and state laws with respect to these matters. He ensures that clients are in compliance with all relevant securities laws, and he also works on structuring innovative solutions and strategic partnerships. He has consulted in structuring, establishing and acquiring businesses, primarily in real estate, in which investors have directly invested in utilizing the EB-5 investment program.
Attorney Kim’s EB-5 experience also includes organizing private placements for real estate developers for which EB-5 investors have directly invested. He has worked on a wide-range of EB-5-related documents, including private placement memoranda, prospectuses, subscription documents, rescission offers, joint venture agreements, memorandum of understanding, stock purchase agreements, asset acquisition agreements, stock for asset exchange agreements, merger agreements, and more.
A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, Attorney Kim went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Calif. Prior to attending law school, he was employed as a loan officer with Korean-American community banks in the Los Angeles area. He is fluent in English and Korean, and is an active member of the State Bar of California.
