Why is there no database for EB-5 projects?

I wonder why no database provides information to investors, like the project’s current status (I-956F approved), name, regional center, or developer, to be readily accessed? Even with my attorney’s help, I feel like I am researching information all over the place. I have been provided documentation, but who says the information is correct? How do I know the documents are correct? I feel I depend too much on other people to do the due diligence of each project.

USCIS maintains a list of approved regional centers on its website. Unfortunately, there is no such centralized list or database for the projects. It would be very difficult to create and maintain as there are many projects, and they constantly change.

The USCIS has an up-to-date list of approved EB-5 regional centers, the reason there is no independent database is that many of these projects never get beyond the USCIS filing stage and do not attract any investors.
