I am interested in applying for an EB-5 visa with an indoor vertical farm startup. Would this be a feasible EB-5 project?

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryAny project can be feasible if you can show it will be developed with the EB-5 funds and at least 10 new permanent jobs will be created from the investment within 2 years.

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryThis is not a simple yes or no answer. There are numerous variables that need to be considered. In short, possibly, but you would likely be looking at a “Direct EB-5” investment which can be at the lower threshold of $800,000 if certain criteria are met. If not, your minimum investment must be at $1.05 Million AND the investment must be structured properly. Job creation must be understood and planned for appropriately. You really need to consult with an experienced EB-5 attorney that has successfully handled “direct” investments previously. Happy to chat if you want to explore this further.

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryThis should be doable provided you can show lawful source of funds, business plan that the investment will be used in the project, and ten new jobs created.

Immigration Attorneys DirectoryI do not see why not so long as you have lawful source of funds and your project creates 10 full-time positions. Each project is unique - I recommend speaking to an immigration attorney.
