Do I need to answer the newly added questions to the DS-260 form?

I submitted my DS-260 in July. Recently I was told that there have been some new questions added to the form. Do I need to request the embassy to reopen my submitted form and provide answers to the new questions before the interview?

No, additional questions may be addressed at the time of the interview.

Unless the State Department requires you to do it, do not do anything yet. Also, chances are that your petition might have become documentarily certified and no additional information is needed from you.

The version of Form DS-260 on the date that you filed will apply.

You do not need to do anything unless the consulate advises you to do so or you completed an expired form at the time you submitted the DS-260. Any changes after you filed would not apply to you.

Probably not. They may ask those in an interview though.

No. The embassy will ask for anything they may need.
