2017 Ho Chi Minh EB-5 Delegation

March 2-3, 2017

Park Hyatt Saigon

Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

More than 400 investment immigration professionals, migration agents and project developers joined EB5 Investors Magazine at the 2nd Annual Ho Chi Minh EB-5 Delegation at the Park Hyatt Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in March 2017.  The delegation attracted 30 percent more participants than its previous year, reflecting the growing number of professionals servicing the exploding investment immigration market in Vietnam.

Vietnam now marks the second-largest market after China for immigrant investor families applying for EB-5 visas.  The trend is also fueled by the emerging Vietnamese wealthy class, which is projected to see a nearly 170 percent growth of ultra-high net worth individuals over the next 10 years, according to the Knight Frank 2017 Wealth Report.

The innovative delegation, which featured two dozen speakers, brought their experienced perspectives on investment immigration and cross-cultural relationship-building to key EB-5 stakeholders.  It allowed industry professionals to learn directly from leading developers and service providers via educational panel discussions, business presentations and networking opportunities.

“The 2017 Ho Chi Min conference was a unique opportunity to liaise with key local EB-5 stakeholders in one of the most important and fast-growing immigrant investor markets,” said Chad Ellsworth, a partner at Fragomen Worldwide and speaker at the event.  “The conference attendees offered critical insight and opportunities for the dynamic Vietnamese foreign investor market.”

“The EB5 Investors Magazine conference in Vietnam was tremendous,” shared Paul Levinsohn, co-founder and managing principal of the New York City Regional Center and also a speaker at the event.  “It was organized, well-run and very professional.  The schedule and flow of the conference gave regional centers, immigration agents and attorneys plenty of time to interact.  It was a valuable experience for the New York City Regional Center and we look forward to participating in many more future conferences around the world.”
